Albertine Hollingsworth Walker, 94, passed away on Tuesday, January 16, 2018 at Anderson's Regency Meridian in Meridian, MS. She was born on April 4, 1923 in Newton County, Mississippi to James and Ruby Hollingsworth.
Preceding Mrs. Walker in death were parents, James and Ruby Hollingsworth; husband, Oscar Walker.
Survivors include sons, Johnny Walker (Sandra), Raymond Walker (Brenda Faye), and Walton Walker, grandchildren, Kim Graham, Chris Walker (Laurie), Ashley Lane (Nick), Tabitha Walker, Bronson Walker, and Richard Walker (Felicity); 7 great-grandchildren and one sister, Jean Stogner.
Visitation will be at Newton County Funeral Home-South on Friday, January 19, 2018 from 12:00 PM until 2:00 PM. Graveside service for Albertine H. Walker will be held on Friday, January 19, 2018 at the Hickory City Cemetery in Hickory at 2:30 PM. Dr. Randy Rich will officiate. Newton County Funeral Home-South will be in charge of the arrangements.
